What Is Uswitch Power Hours?
Power Hours is a free energy-saving scheme run by Uswitch that rewards you for using electricity during off-peak hours. Once you connect your smart meter via the Uswitch app, you’ll get access to five-hour electricity slots each weekend in November — completely free.
Whatever electricity you use during those slots is credited back to your account as cash — no catches.
How to Join (Before October 31)
To take part, follow these steps:
- Download the Uswitch app in Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Connect your compatible smart meter The app will guide you step-by-step to connect your meter.
- Sign up for the Power Hours scheme You’ll find it inside the Uswitch app under the “Earn” section.
- Join before October 31st You must connect your smart meter and enrol before this deadline to take part.
How It Works
- Each weekend in November, you’ll be able to pick a 5-hour free electricity slot (Saturday or Sunday)
- Use as much electricity as you want during that slot
- Uswitch will measure your usage via the smart meter and calculate the savings
- The value is added to your Earn tab inside the app
- At the end of November, withdraw your total cashback
