When my fixed tariff ended, prices increased. I checked comparison sites like uSwitch and saw Fuse Energy offering a cheaper fixed tariff.
My new 15-month fixed tariff with Fuse:
• 22.892p per kWh
• 36.150p per day standing charge
That’s lower on both the unit rate and standing charge.
For my usage, that makes a noticeable difference over the year.
Important: However, I didn’t do the switch via uSwitch because there is a Fuse referral bonus you can get only if you switch from their website/app and enter a referral code. If you do it from uSwitch you won’t be able to have the bonus, so it’s good to compare and then find the same price back on the website / app. I downloaded the app, and it was super quick and easy to do it in 5 minutes. The good thing about Octopus is that there is no exit fee. They have been great, but I want a cheaper offer.
